Introduction

Join the world of Ultima Collection at our exceptional 5-star superior hotel, Ultima Gstaad, and shine bright. 



We are looking for a Head Chef to join us for the winter season from November 2021 to March 2022.

 

Your tasks
  • Establish our culinary offering according to the concept of our restaurant
  • Create menu items, recipes and develop dishes that ensure variety and quality
  • Participate in the recruitment of the kitchen brigade with the human resources department
  • Be responsible for the management and training of kitchen staff
  • Be proactive with specific customer requests in the private chalets
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by building relationships through service
  • Develop customer loyalty and promote the group’s other destinations
  • Determine food inventory needs, stocking and ordering
  • Ensure the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines
  • Maintain effective communications with all related departments to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner

  • Completed apprenticeship as a Chef
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Proven experience as a Head Chef in a luxury hotel or a luxury cruise
  • Culinary criteria required : Inventive fusion cuisine
  • Up to date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills
  • Customer-oriented and professional attitude
  • Prioritization and time management skills
  • Knowledge of hygiene and sanitary standards
