As Hotel Director, you will be responsible for the organization, management and supervision of the Hotel, focusing on ensuring the quality of the service. Some of your main functions will be:

Actively participate in the annual strategic planning and budget setting exercise.
Translate the output from the annual strategic planning exercise into operational objectives for departments within remit.
Drive and participate in setting key standards, for all departments within the portfolio and ensure that they are implemented.
Working with your mangers, schedule and regularly conduct routine inspections of equipment and areas under the control of the departments within your portfolio.
Clear, accurate & timely documentation: reports, inventories, discipline forms, praise books, etc.
Assist in developing formal training plans for the departments within your portfolio to meet identified needs.
Motivate mangers to deliver on the job training to staff: focusing on complete understanding and a high level of performance of the tasks outlined in the How To Do Its.
Co-operate within the Executive Committee team and with all other hotel departments to establish and maintain a positive working environment.
Give assistance to other departments when necessary.
Maintain and continually assess the agreed standards detailed in the Bahia Principe Standards & Training Manual and company Policies and Procedures.
Monitor the level of service and the level of guest satisfaction on an ongoing basis within the hotel to ensure consistency with established standards.
Handle all guest comments, questions, complaints, requests or inquiries, taking the necessary action and steps and ensure follow-up.
Examine the property, equipment and environs on an ongoing basis, with a view to adopting a proactive approach to problems and creative service solutions and ideas.
Translate the output from the annual strategic planning exercise into operational objectives for departments within remit.
Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly revenue reports, and other report pertaining to the business activity of the hotel.
Forecast schedules and forecast weekly revenue.

Requisiti

Laurea minima: Licenciado
Esperienza: De 2 a 3 años
Categoria professionale: Executive
residenza: México

The ideal profile will have:

At least 3 years experience as Director in a Hotel with golf operations.
In-depth knowledge of the US and Canada markets.
Bachelors or master’s degree in Hotel Management, Tourism or Economic Studies preferred, or long-term track record of success in role within industry.
Highly Fluent in English, writing and speaking.
Highly computer literate with a high-level command of Excel.
Knowledgeable and proficient with hotel technology: PMS, Channel Manager, GDS, CRS, Extranet.
Business Development DNA and commercial minded.
Goal-oriented.
Sound ability and knowledge to develop standards of operations and strategic processes.
Good analytical and numeric skills for fast data crunching.
Ability to work under own initiative, self-directed and motivated.
Good communication skills.
